Preferred One Chronic Low Back Pain Program

Therapy Partners has partnered with PreferredOne and designed a program specifically for people who have chronic low back pain and the symptoms associated with its various causes.  Physical Therapists who have attained the designation of Spine Care Specialist manage the care these patients.

Our chronic low back pain program has 3 phases.

Phase I consists of one-on-one physical therapy care by one of our PT Spine Care Specialists, who are highly skilled and experienced in treating and managing patients with chronic low back pain. During this phase your physical therapist will focus on reducing and managing pain through manual therapy and active interventions to improve movement patterns and posture.

Phase II involves a transition to an individual and/or group exercise program supervised by a physical therapist and designed to improve flexibility, strength, and neuromuscular control of core muscles that stabilize the spine.

Phase III is a fitness program within the physical therapy clinic designed to encourage the patient to engage in a defined, long term, independent self management program for continued pain control and functional improvement.
